I have always enjoyed studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry, and I would like the opportunity to continue this study. I also attended a Headstart course at Newcastle University, which I thoroughly enjoyed. One of the main activities was to design, manufacture and test a small crane. I found both of these experiences very challenging, as we were given only limited time so we had to prioritise our tasks and carefully plan our work.
This year a fellow student and I were awarded ￡500 by the European Scholarship Prize to fund a visit to Prague to do research for our A-level History coursework. I gained an understanding of the city’s culture and history and further developed my independence. During the summer I represented my school on a Connexions review of a government white paper on 14-19 education. I gained an insight into the government’s proposals and learned a lot about working with different groups of people. Last year I was part of the editorial team for the school magazine. 日本留学本科的要求与费用
一、日本留学本科的要求
1、学历
去日本读本科的学生要在国内已经学习了十二年以上，在国内的高中三年毕业之后拿到了学校的毕业证。
2、日语
要求学生要有足够的日语学习时间，学习日语的时间要有200个小时以上，并且参加日语的考试，拿到日语的等级证书。
3、年龄
去日本读本科的学生年龄最低不能低于18岁，不能高于35岁，年龄太小或太大都不适合在日本读本科。
4、经济

主体文章：让人明白你要传达的讯息主要段落必须包含你按照年代顺序或重要程度排列的事件，经历和活动你可以自由地发挥你认为值得重视的成就，可以写得特定而详细，告诉读者你值得被录取，让他们知道在申请入学的一班人马中，你在某一方面不仅合格而且大大高于其他人的水准，注意：不要显得拖沓，每个段落必须包含一个单独的主题，并加以评述，你的结束段必须以积极的口吻结尾，重申你的目标，按照你所申请学校的预期要求撰写。
个人陈述是“头重”的文件格式，因此，你文章的结束部分不应有戏剧性的部分，如果你文章的主体末尾已经很具说服力，则不用写上结束段落，若你打算写个结束语，确信不要重复你的介绍性部分，重申你的目标和动机是可取的，你必须以某种方式给读者留下持续的印象。
五、文书内容需要量身打造
文书的内容要根据每个人的特点来定，如果你身材火辣但却五音不全，那你一定要表演跳舞而不是唱歌，如果你普通话很烂但是精通美音英音澳音，那你一定要表演英文歌曲联唱而不是唐诗朗诵。老师在进行提高学生背景，挖掘学生背景以及提炼学生优势申请素材的时候会先给同学们做一个信息表，提出很多的问题，帮助同学们来思考和辨别，哪些才是契合主题的信息，哪些才是对申请有利的材料，哪些才是会打动教授的内容。比如是哪个人物，或者哪件事情，让你钟情于此专业，是什么样的想法或者际遇，帮你坚定了到美国学习的梦想，在学习的过程中，你收获了怎样的心得，进行了哪些创新，在研究的过程中，你采用了怎样的方法，取得了怎样的成果；在实践的过程中，你遇到了哪些新的问题，是怎样解决和克服的；根据不同学生的不同情况会提出不同的问题。
六、申请文书结尾最好画龙点睛
一篇好的文书还需要一个特别的结尾，就好像一个演出有一个惊艳并且有力的ending，能够使教授对你的好感瞬间变的波涛汹涌，录取你的愿望变的干柴烈火。要做到这一点其实不简单。有一个在加州Irvine读书的同学曾经跟老师讲起，他们系的教授每到申请旺季都会跑到深山中租一个靠近湖边的小木屋，就是为了能够潜心阅读国际申请者（其中包括70%的中国学生）的PS，足见这个过程给予他们怎样的痛苦。所以建议各位正在或者将要进行自己的PS写作的同学们，为了教授们的健康，请不要再写像废寝忘食、早出晚归这样的故事，也不要再描述每天早上在操场或者小树林里背单词的场景，千万千万不要再出现像上课积极回答问题，课后按时完成各科作业这样的词句。一个好的申请者是懂得获取，同时也懂得贡献的。不要仅仅想着拼命刻苦就能够满足教授的要求，要想一想，你的加入能够给这个研究团队带来什么，你能够为未来的同学、课堂、系，和学校，带来什么样的体验和影响。好的申请者和教授之间会像情侣的关系，彼此需要对方，也能够满足对方的需要，这样才会让教授觉得你们彼此契合，才会让他相信你们未来在一起会有很好的沟通和合作。
