如何编写中职汽修专业英语校本教材

摘 要：校本教材开发是中等职业学校进行示范校建设的一项重要要求。随着中等职业学校汽修专业的迅速发展，开发汽修专业校本教材势在必行。笔者结合教学实践，在文中分析了校本教材开发的原因，阐述了校本教材应具有的特点和结构安排，从而得出了校本教材的开发要跟上时代的步伐。

英语是中职学校一门重要的基础课程，对提高学生的综合素质起着重要的作用。近年来，随着汽车工业的发展，汽修专业迅速壮大，学生的差异也在扩大。学校所使用的中职英语公用教材已经不适合学校和社会发展地要求。面对这种情况，开发具有汽修专业特色的英语教材势在必行。“校本课程开发（ SBCD）是始于西方发达国家的一种以学校为本位的课程开发策略。”[2] 校本教材的开发既要发挥本校自身特色，又要适合经济发展的需求。
一、汽修专业英语校本教材编写的原因
1、汽修专业学生的英语水平
教师在教学过程中发现汽修专业学生英语基础很差，他们对学习英语没有任何兴趣，水平稍微高点的学生也只能熟悉少量的词汇和语法知识，差的学生各项能力更差。对在校五个汽修班二百六十八位新生来进行初一上册的期中水平试卷测试，结果显示他们几乎没人能够及格，平均分数在二十五分左右。由于本校正在进行国家级示范校建设活动，国家和学校对学生的要求非常高，汽修专业的工作岗位也要求学生要具有一定的英语水平来适应社会发展的需要。因此，学校必须开发合适的教材来提高学生的英语水平。
2、中职公共英语教材的弊端
教师们在教学过程中发现，现用教材的内容与汽修专业课和汽修专业的工作实践脱节，没有太大地联系，对工作不能起到促进与提高的作用。学生们普遍反应中职公共英语教材难度很大，不能激发学生学习英语的热情，达到提高英语水平的需要，更不能满足社会发展的需求。因此，结合学校的情况与社会发展的形势来开发校本教材是课程改革对教师提出的一项基本要求，于是，学校组建了富有学识和经验丰富的老师来进行汽修专业英语校本教材的编写。

摘要：本文针对汽车专业发展中英语学习的必要性以及汽修过程中专业英语的教学现状，结合专业英语教学本身的特点，从专业英语教学与专业课之间的有效衔接等诸多方面做了一些探讨，以期对职业学校汽修专业英语教学的模式产生些许影响。

近年来，中国经济飞速发展，老百姓的生活水平显著提高，一个明显的标志就是汽车保有量急剧增加，汽车已经成为普通百姓生活的必需品，面对日益鼎盛的汽车时代，我们的生活中亟需大批高素质、技能强的汽修从业人员。而纵观现如今的汽修行业，从业人员不仅数量上严重不足，素质也参差不齐，从而形成巨大的人才缺口，在一定程度上制约了我国汽修行业的健康发展。鉴于此种情况，国家在实施制造业与现代服务业技能型紧缺人才培养工程时，将汽车运用与维修作为优先发展的行业之一，提高到国家层面来发展。这对开设汽车运用与维修专业的职业学校而言，无疑是一个绝佳的发展机遇，也给我们带来了前所未有的挑战，对每一个教师的专业发展产生了重要影响。因此，如何抓住这一机遇，科学合理地配置课程，让学生真正掌握本领，在激烈的竞争中立于不败之地，增强汽修专业学生的市场竞争力，是每个职业教育工作者所面临的新问题。专业英语作为汽车维修专业人员必备的一项基本技能，学生英语水平、英语教学质量的高低直接关乎职业学校能否培养出符合时代需求、适应新技术变化的高素质人才。笔者结合自己多年职教英语教学的经验，结合江苏省淮阴商业学校汽修专业英语现状，针对汽修专业英语教学模式作一些探讨。
一、结合时代发展，认识汽修专业英语学习的必要性
加入世界贸易组织之后，中国融入整个世界大家庭，汽车市场也日益走向国际化，大量先进的进口汽车、相应的辅助设备及维修技术走进国门，来到我们身边。尤其是随着世界科技和经济水平的发展，汽车技术也日新月异，维修技术科技含量不断增强，一些用英文显示故障的现象也屡见不鲜。面对这些现象，不懂专业英语，如同盲人摸象，不知所云，更谈不上操作和维修了。一些维修企业将一些进口设备束之高阁，鲜有使用，究其原因，就是因为缺乏既熟悉英语又掌握汽车维修专业知识的人才。因此承担着“面向企业，培养企业需要的人才”重任的职业类学校，要针对这一现状，大力强化汽车专业英语教学，从而真正培养出技能强、素质高、英文熟的高素质人才，在平时的教学实践中，要将汽修专业英语教学落到实处，给予足够的重视，绝不能使其流于形式。此外，对于从事汽修行业的从业人员来说，自身英文水平的低下，也必然会导致面对国外汽车的新技术时不知所措，不明就里，从而直接影响自己业务水平的提升，制约自己维修技术的发展。

Newer automobiles have evolved from a mechanical system (distributor) to a completely solid state electronic system with no moving parts. These systems are completely controlled by the onboard computer. In place of the distributor, there are multiple coils that serve one or two spark plugs. A typical 6-cylinder engine has 3coils that mounted together in a coil “pack”. A spark plug wire comes out of each side of the individual coil and goes to the appropriate spark plug. The coil fires both spark plugs at the same time. One spark plug fires on the
compression stroke igniting the air-fuel mixture to produce the power, while the other spark plug fires on the exhaust stroke and does nothing. On some vehicles, there is an individual coil for each cylinder mounted directly on top of the spark plug.
